Book Cover Project

This book cover was inspired by one of my favourite book series. The project is from an in-class assignment, where we were learning how to prepare files for specific sizes (e.g., book cover sized here at 6 x 9 inches). The image was created using a personal photo, edited to this finished product using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I then used a mock up file to create the book mock up you see below. This was a fun, creative project that allowed me to learn more about Photoshop and Illustrator, how to size the image correctly, and the special effects that can be applied to text and images.
